Next “pre-launch” steps!

I set up my tuition payments last Friday, and then had to wait for the 15th (today!) for the next steps.

Right on schedule, my admissions portal showed that I was cleared to start, and the orientation step was showing the green checkmark that means complete (I didn’t have to take the Orientation as a returning student).

Then, around 10:30 this morning, I got the Meet Your Mentor email, along with the link to set up my first meeting, which I promptly took care of – I’m scheduled for Monday afternoon. I also immediately got an email from my mentor as soon as I scheduled. I’m looking forward to meeting him!

Monday, we’ll talk through my initial schedule, what I have in mind in terms of timing, and so on. Once my schedule for the first few courses is in place, I should be able to look at the courses in preview mode, so I might be able to get some sense of how the first classes will go, and be able to get my initial plan into my task manager. 

Unless something goes sideways, I should be able to start promptly the first weekend of September. My family will be out of town the 3rd through the 13th, so I should have a chance to get a good running start and maybe even have the first 2-3 courses done, given that I won’t have a ton of distractions.
